Humanitas Mater Domini
Since its inauguration in 1962, the Humanitas Mater Domini represents a reference point for delivering outstanding quality and services. It has been accredited by the Joint Commission International, the largest and most experienced accreditation body in the world.
It was the first Italian healthcare facility to be certified by the Quality Management system ISO 9001, and the first provider within the province of Varese to obtain the certification OHSAS 18001 in the field of Health and Safety within the workplace. Since 2007, the Institute is also a regional ECM-CPD provider.
The Institute has 182 beds, and about 650 employee, including doctors, technicians, nurses and allied health care providers. The care delivery includes in-hospital medical services, multidisciplinary surgeries, emergencies, and dental care.
The continuous training and development of their health professions is a value that Humanitas Mater Domini has always prioritized by offering regular conferences and congresses. There are a variety of events carried out during the year: from basic medical support to advanced conferences and hands-on activities.
The Humanitas Mater Domini is also the home of one of the University Medical Science Courses, an educational path taught by our physicians, involving men and women wishing to deepen their knowledge of frequent pathologies in the elderly.
