Information

The course concept is based on a unique combination of live surgeries – allowing direct interaction with the surgeon in the operating room. There will also be intense practical roundtables on real surgical cases and keynote lectures from international experts. The interaction will be between surgeons from different countries in order to compare surgical approaches at the international level. The aim of the course is to describe the clinical and research evidence on the pathogenesis and management of complications of retinal detachment and diabetic retinopathy, on the treatment of pathologies of the vitreoretinal interface, and on the latest therapeutic perspectives.

Vitreoretinal surgery:

    • Live surgery from England, Belgium, Italy and Scotland
    • Keynote lectures from international renowned speakers
    • Roundtables case presentations
